Westport CT Summer Fun

By way of the Recing Crew Westport CT offers up some summer fun to kids in Grades 5 to 8.

Sometimes summer days go too fast and at other times they seem to stretch on without end.

Thankfully the Westport Parks and Recreation Department offers a full line up of fun summertime activities that are affordable and that kids really enjoy.

One such camp is the Recing Crew - which for 2010, is offered to kids entering grades 5 to 8. This year there are seven one week session being held from the hours of 8:45 to 3:15 daily.

Each day will be filled with fun recreational activities that encourage good health, physical fitness, and a sense of self confidence.

In addition, the kids will go on one field trip weekly and spend another day at Longshore Club Park.

Younger kids in grades k-4 can take part in Camp Compo Westport CT.
