Westport CT BeachesThe Westport CT beaches are all on the shores of Long Island Sound. Spanning the distance between Norwalk Connecticut on the west and Fairfield Conn. on the east - much of the coastline is privately owned beachfront property. Fortunately the Town of Westport offers up three of it's own pieces of sun and sand for the public to enjoy:
These locations are open to the public all year round. But during the months of May through September either a parking sticker (for residents - purchased at the Parks and Recreation department) or a daily parking fee is required. In addition to the three town beaches - Westport Connecticut is home to the Sherwood Island State Park. This park is owned by the State of Connecticut and NOT by the town. There is an admission fee to visit in season. Do You Have Pictures of the Westport CT Beaches?
